Incorporating Formal Art History and Ethnography Background into Design
I am a product designer who loves problem-solving through mixed-method research and design thinking and who applies a developed sense of empathy as a tool for awareness and improvement.
My classical training in Art History (MA, Moscow State University) and Museum Studies (MA, Amsterdam University of the Arts) gives me a deep understanding of the social, cultural, and functional contexts that shape creativity. By analysing design elements within their contexts through UX research, ethnography, user personas, and storytelling, I gather insights that engage and fulfill diverse customers needs and business goals.
Empathy-Driven Design
With my formal training in UX/UI design (Ironhack), I combine colour theory, design thinking, information architecture, interaction design, and prototyping, I translate these insights into the digital world, informing the design of user interactions and journeys with meaningful points of connection. My approach goes beyond functionality, integrating the emotional and cultural factors that shape user behavior to create experiences that resonate on a deeper level. With over 10 years of experience in mixed-method research, learning experience design, and project management across sectors, Iām committed to designing accessible, inclusive solutions that make a positive impact for both users and businesses.
